Blue-Gray Classic

BLUE-GRAY CLASSIC

The Second Annual
Blue-Gray Classic

Collegiate 15s Rugby Festival
September 9th, 2006
Historic Signal Hill Park, Manassas, VA

  • “Civil War” format: Teams represent either the North or the South and play three games against the other side
  • Teams earn Super 12 points for their side to determine “Civil War” winner and top individual team
  • $220 per team
  • Signal Hill Park is a Civil War landmark with three pitches

The BGC was a huge success last year and is a great way to kick off the fall season. New guys need playing time. “A” sides need tuning up. The BGC provides the opportunity for both with no “bracket pressure.” The North won the Classic last year, while Virginia Tech was the top team

Contact Mike Murphy at novarugby@braemarnet.com to claim a spot in the 2006 BGC. This year we will have six South teams and six North teams, and some spots on each side are already filled so ACT NOW!

The Blue-Gray Classic is presented by the Northern Virginia RFC.
